Rev up your weekend plans this October 3rd through the 6th by attending the 23rd Annual Eureka Springs Corvette weekend. With over 1,000 corvettes in attendance, this event has grown since it first began in 1991 with only 33 corvettes. Corvette weekend may be filled with plenty of fast cars but the event has a laid back pace filled with car shows, parades and contests.
Set in the beautiful and historic town of Eureka Springs, Corvette weekend is a great chance to enjoy the fall weather outdoors while also enjoying the beauty of the cars in attendance. Car enthusiasts and those who just enjoy the beauty of the cars will be able to vote for a variety of categories at the Owners Choice Auto Show, hosted by the Kansas City Corvette Association. Taking place Saturday morning from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Pioneer Mountain Square, awards will be given in a range of categories including Best in Show and the Long Distance Award. This event is held rain or shine.
Licensed drivers will be able to enjoy showing off their skills at the Short Course Autocross hosted by Oklahoma City Corvette Club and 4 State Vettes, held Thursday morning at 10:00am. This event is great for first timers because of the low speeds and also for the more experienced drivers looking to show off their skills. Drivers will meet at Everett Chevrolet in Springdale, Arkansas. Another exciting event is the Fuel Economy Run taking place Friday morning at 10:00am. Hosted by Tulsa Vette Set and meeting at Land-O-Nod Victorian Inn, this event is for every Corvette ever made. Covering over 100 miles and lasting two hours, this event has been known to have upwards of 100 Corvettes in attendance.
Saturday evening at the Parade of Champions, winners from the Auto Show, Autocross and Fuel Economy will tour Highway 62 from the Victoria Inn to the Inn of the Ozarks Best Western. Spectators can bring chairs and line the streets to cheer on the winners. To close out the Corvette weekend, Sunday morning at Pine Mountain Square, there will be a departing caravan at 10:00am.
