How to Plan the Perfect Eureka Springs Honeymoon

If you’re wondering how to plan the perfect Eureka Springs honeymoon, we’ve got everything you need right here.  Cozy up at one of the town’s charming bed and breakfasts for the evening, enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner in the Historic District and take in the scenic beauty of the Ozark Mountains.  It’s all right here in this charming little town, setting the scene for a most romantic honeymoon.

A stay at Arsenic and Old Lace bed and breakfast is a must on your honeymoon getaway.  This Queen Anne Victorian style mansion is home to 5 beautiful guest rooms.  Imagine sleeping under the trees in our romantic Tree-Top Suite.  The room is stunning with its 2-story floor to ceiling windows that overlook the Ozark hills.  The room features a 4 poster king size brass bed, seasonal fireplace, whirlpool bath and spa shower.  After a restful evening, a gourmet breakfast will be prepared for you in the morning.  For an extra special touch, our innkeepers can arrange for a bottle of champagne or sparkling cider to be waiting for you upon arrival.

After breakfast, venture out to explore the many outdoor trails and springs that the town is known for.  Lake Leatherwood Park is a great place to start.  This park sits on over 1,600 acres and has an 85-acre spring-fed lake.  There are places to hike, walk and picnic throughout the park.  Another beautiful spot to walk around is the Blue Spring Heritage Center.  The Blue Spring Heritage Center features over a mile of trails through blooming gardens.  The main draw to the center is, of course, the breathtaking Blue Spring.  38 millions of gallons of water pour daily from the spring into a trout-filled lagoon.  As you make your way back into town, be sure to check out Basin Spring and Grotto Spring which are among the dozen springs that can still be visited around town.

Downtown Eureka Springs is a fun atmosphere in itself.  The winding streets of the Historic District are home to many art galleries, over 100 restaurants and bars, spas, and unique shops.  Many of the spas around town offer couples massages.  Unwind for an hour in a room just for the two of you, relaxing next to each other while getting a massage.  After your massage, check out a fine dining experience in the Historic District.  Rogue’s Manor is located at 124 Spring Street.  The building, which was built in the 1870’s, features a waterfall and redwood tables.  Their fine dining menu includes Curried Seafood Chowder, Rack of Lamb and Bonsai Chicken.  Top off dinner with an after dinner drink at the lounge which features the largest wine and scotch collections in Northwest Arkansas.

After dinner, consider taking in an evening show at Intrigue Theater.  Sit back and experience a one-of-a-kind show with Sean-Paul the Illusionist and Juliane Fay the Medium.  This thrilling show will leave you questioning what you really saw as guests from the other side join Sean-Paul and Juliane for an evening of magic and mystery.  Shows begin at 8:00pm on Saturday nights.
