Get Excited for the Walton Arts Center Schedule

Bringing great performing artists and entertainers from around the world to Northwest Arkansas, the Walton Arts Center has your ticket to some of the greatest shows around.  For 23 seasons, visitors and locals have been coming to the Walton Arts Center to experience a night of performing arts.  The Walton Arts Center schedule for the upcoming season is fantastic with a variety of shows including musicals, comedians, and musicians.

Mark your calendars for November 6th to see Me and My Shadow presented by Patch Theatre Company.  The show is about a girl who befriends her shadow making it great for children over the age of 4.  Broadway hit musical Pippin takes the stage on November 10th.  Pippin won 4 Tony Awards in 2013.  Performance includes acrobatics and songs that will leave you wanting to see it again and again.  The following week, Paragon Ragtime Orchestra presents The Clown Princes of Silent Comedy on November 17th.  The orchestra will play a live soundtrack to 3 silent films featuring Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, and Harold Lloyd.  November 19th, get your tickets to see 5-time Grammy award-winning jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall.  Rounding out November is family friendly show, Annie.  Shows will run from November 24th through the 29th.

The Walton Arts Center December schedule is ready to get you into the holiday spirit.  The Snowman: A Family Concert presented by SoNA and Walton Arts Center will take the stage December 6th.  Audience members will enjoy the musical score from the movie The Snowman under the musical direction of Paul Haas.  December 11th and 12th, the National Circus and Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China will perform traditional acrobatics like the Grand Flying Trapeze and the Great Teeterboard.  This eye-popping show is breathtaking with beautifully costumed performers acting out unique acts of agility.  All of your favorite holiday characters come alive in the stage performance of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical.  This fun and very festive show will run from December 21st through the 23rd.

The new year brings on many great performances including Tony award-winning musical Kinky Boots January 19th through the 24th, comedienne Paula Poundstone on February 5th, Mamma Mia! February 9th through the 14th and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella running March 1st through the 6th.  For more information on the spring schedule of events, check out their schedule page for more information.
