The Eureka Springs Zip Line is Fun for Everyone

Looking for adventure in the New Year?  Experience the Eureka Springs Zip Line for an afternoon of thrilling zip lines through the Ozark Mountains.  Branson Zip Line and Canopy Tours at Wolf Creek Preserve are ready to provide not only an exciting adventure but and educational one too.  Learn all about the Ozarks ecology from one of their knowledgeable guides while racing down the mountain on one of their eight zip lines.  The season opens March 1st.  Here are a few of their tour options so you can start planning early!

The best-selling tour is the Ozarks Xplorer Canopy Tour.  This tour can last anywhere from 2.5 to 3 hours and takes you on 7 zip lines and 10 suspension bridges.  The Flying Prospector Canopy Tour is a shorter tour taking only 1.5 to 2 hours to complete and includes 4 zip lines and 7 suspension bridges.  For the Blue Streak Fast Line & Free Fall Xpress Tour, zip liners will exceed heights over 150 feet and zip on the longest and fastest line which is a quarter of a mile.  To finish, participants will then free fall drop from Everest, their tallest platform.  The Canopy Adventure Combo offers guests 8 zip lines and 10 suspension bridges and includes the final exit from the 100 foot tower.  This tour can take anywhere from 3 to 3.5 hours.

If you want to participate in the day but want to skip the zip lining, they offer a Wolfe Creek Photo Safari Guided Walking Tour.  This 1.5 hour tour first takes hikers to the top of Wolfe Mountain by way of their Pinzgauer Swiss Army Troop Carriers.  Then an experienced tour guide will hike with guests through Wolfe Creek Preserve.  There is a mid-way break for a snack and water.

Prices for tours vary based on age and tour.  Adult tickets start at $39.99 and go up to $129.99.  There are different prices for those 17 and under.  There are also options for family passes and discounted group rates.  While on the property, be sure to check out Wolfe Creek Station.  This is the starting point for all tours and includes restrooms, a snack area, gift shop and observation deck.  All ages will also enjoy searching for Eli Wolfe’s lost treasure at Ol’ Blue’s Gemstone Mining Station at Wolfe Creek Station.

Anyone interested in participating in zip lining must meet specific guidelines.  Participant’s weight must be between 70 and 275 pounds.  Guests must be able to hear verbal instructions, be able to lift knees to the chest and walk 100 yards over suspension bridges.  Closed toed shoes must also be worn.
