Local artists of Eureka Springs make shopping around town quite the experience.  The Historic District has shops with jewelry, gourmet food, clothes and home décor.  Fine art can be found at the many galleries lining the streets of downtown.  For a little bit of everything, check out Eureka Thyme on Spring Street.  This store features all locally created items like fine art paintings, wooden toys, sculptures, pottery, soy candles and much more.  Shopping in the streets of downtown is also a great way to view the beauty of the Victorian architecture that the town is known for.  Hop on the Eureka Springs Transit System for an open air tram ride through the town to take you to all of your shopping destinations.

The natural surroundings of Eureka Springs are a huge draw to this town throughout all seasons.  The town is set in the Ozark Mountains and is home to over sixty natural springs.  The lakes and parks surrounding the city are home to plenty of hiking, biking, camping and swimming.  For a relaxing ride around Beaver Lake, the Belle of the Ozarks gives scenic cruises around the lake from May through October.  This cruise is an informative twelve mile cruise ideal for all seasons.  This Belle of the Ozarks is great for groups, reunions and even intimate weddings.

The variety of attractions found in Eureka Springs will keep your calendar full for day or night.  Spend the day exploring Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge or walking the Holy Land Tour, a 2 hour interactive biblical teaching tour.  The whole family will enjoy zip lining at Ozark Mountain Ziplines.  This canopy tour through the Ozark Mountains will have you soaring 200 plus feet through the trees with views of the limestone cliffs.  For nighttime activities, get tickets to the Great Passion Play or the Not Really A Door comedy thriller.  Eureka Springs is also home to one of the most haunted hotels of the town, the Basin Park Hotel.  Nightly ghost tours from March through November will take you through the haunted halls for a unique paranormal experience.

When traveling to Eureka Springs, a stay at a Victorian style bed and breakfast will set the tone for the whole visit.  Relax in your own guest suite complete with private bathroom and seasonal fireplace.  Enjoy the complimentary gourmet breakfast prepared fresh each morning.  Arsenic and Old Lace is set in the peace and quiet of the Arkansas hills but within walking distance of downtown.  Check out the Eureka Springs Vacation Guide for more information about what to see and do on your next visit to this historic destination.
