One of the most eye appealing stores to be found in Eureka Springs is Kaleidokites on Spring Street. Feel like a kid again as you walk in and discover the large selection of kites and kaleidoscopes. Kaleidokites is on the upper level of the Basin Spring Bath House. Stop by and say hello to owners Steve and Linda and check out their collection that spans over 30 years.
While strolling along Spring Street, be sure to stop by Fusion Squared featuring the work of artist John Rinehart. Fusion Squared has one-of-a-kind pieces like dichroic glass jewelry and kiln fired art glass. You know you are getting a unique piece of art as no two pieces are alike. The gallery has been open since 2007 and is owned by John Rinehart and John Jarrett.
Eureka Springs is known for its Victorian architecture. The homes that line the streets are stunning and are works of art. The Prospect Gallery can be found in an 1887 Victorian home at 42 Prospect. The gallery represents only original pieces and no reproductions. A few of the artists that have their work featured at The Prospect Gallery include Ann Carter, Drew Gentle, Susan Mautte, Tony Workman, and Edward Thurston.
Another spot in Eureka Springs to find local art is at Sacred Earth Gallery. Sacred Earth Gallery features the works of artists Janalee, Edward C., and Ethan Robison. The gallery is located just outside of Eureka Springs on Hwy 62 West. Back on Spring Street, is Quicksilver Art and Fine Craft Gallery. Quicksilver represents over 120 artists and a wide selection of mediums including jewelry, ceramics, metal and wood, and art glass. They have a featured artist each month and participate in Eureka Springs 2nd Saturday gallery walk.
If you love all things cooking, you will love Gourmet Eureka on Center Street. Grab a sample of locally roasted coffee and peruse the aisles filled with gourmet products from Northwest Arkansas.
