Spend an Evening at the Ozark Mountain Hoedown

For an evening of fun entertainment for the whole family, the Ozark Mountain Hoedown is the show to see in Eureka Springs.  Great for all ages, the Ozark Mountain Hoedown show offers a variety of genres of music and comedy and a salute to past, present and future military members.  This year, the Ozark Mountain Hoedown is featuring Carl Acuff Jr.  The show is referred to as “The Only Show You’ll Ever Need”.  Shows run seven nights a week.  The pre-show begins at 7:30pm with show starting at 8:00pm.  The Ozark Mountain Hoedown is celebrating its 33rd season this year and is the 4th longest running show in the Ozarks.

Carl Acuff Jr. was named ORAE’s Entertainer of the Year in 2011 and was a 2013 ORAE Male Vocalist of the Year Nominee.  Carl Acuff Jr. has also won most promising Artist of the Year for two consecutive years and received a 2003 Grammy submission for Up and Coming Country Entertainer of the Year.  His show has been touring the United States for the past 22 years.  In addition to great costumes and comedy, this one of a kind experience has a variety of music including new and classic country, gospel, bluegrass, rock and roll, Motown and disco.  The show also includes audience participation and impersonations.  From kids to seniors, the comedy and music in this show makes for a wonderful night of family enjoyment.

The Ozark Mountain Hoedown has featured many acts over the years.  The most recent of these was The George Brothers featuring P. Nutt, Ponytail and Girl.  The show in year’s past has also had Tracy De Mille in Absolutely Patsy where Tracy pays tribute to Patsy Cline and the Mark Wayne Show featuring country music and comedy from Grandpa Elvis.  The show has been featured on Whoopi Goldberg’s radio show Wake Up with Whoopi and has had a two page article in Harley Davidson’s Hog Tales Magazine.  It has also been voted as Eureka Springs Business of the Year.

The Ozark Mountain Hoedown is located at 3140 E Van Buren in Eureka Springs.  Getting to the theater is a breeze as there is a trolley stop within a five minute walk.  Tickets are $24.95 for adults and $22.95 for seniors.  Kids 12 and under are free.  There is a gift shop and snack bar on site.
