3 Great Wines from Keels Creek Winery in Eureka SpringsWe’re loving fall so far in Eureka Springs. We’re still waiting on the last of the fall colors to show themselves, but in the meantime, we think grabbing a glass of wine at Keels Creek Winery is the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Eureka Springs. A Fall Afternoon at Keels Creek Winery

The vineyards of Keels Creek Winery, which were first planted in 2004 and 2005, are located just outside of downtown Eureka Springs. Today, the vineyard has 8 acres of planted land, featuring 8 different varietals of grapes.  They grow the white grape varietals of Vidal, Vignoles, and Chardonel, and the red grape varietals of Chambourcin Frontenac, Coro Noir, Noiret, and Cabernet Franc.

Wine tasting at Keels Creek Winery in Eureka SpringsSince its first year of production, Keels Creek Winery has grown to an annual production rate of 2000 cases. It’s truly a boutique winery, and one that we think produces some excellent wine. Here are 3 great reasons to put a visit to Keels Creek Winery on your itinerary next time you visit Eureka Springs!

  1. Unlike a lot of wineries that import their grapes from all over the country, Keels Creek Winery specializes in grapes grown in Arkansas. The winery produces boutique wines from grapes grown locally in their Eureka Springs vineyards, along with grapes from three other local vineyards.
  2. The wine tasting room shares its space with the Keels Creek Art Gallery. There is an incredible range of art from local artists to enjoy while sipping on your favorite wine.
  3. As we head into the slower season, odds are when you stop in for a wine tasting at Keels Creek Winery, you’ll get personalized service from one of the owners, who are known to be very knowledgable not just about wine, but about Eureka Springs in general! As an added bonus, when the weather cools off a bit, there will be 2 cozy fireplaces to cozy up next to while you sip your new favorite wine.

The Best Eureka Springs Lodging

After you’ve sampled their wines, head back into Eureka Springs for a delightful dinner at one of the town’s extraordinary restaurants. We recommend Le Stick Nouveau, Grotto’s Wood Fired Grill and Wine Cave, or Local Flavor Cafe. As the evening comes to a close, no doubt you’ll be looking for somewhere comfortable to land. Look no further than our luxury Bed and Breakfast, located just 2 blocks from Eureka Springs Historic District! We offer 5 luxuriously appointed guest rooms, the best breakfast in Eureka Springs, and breathtaking views of the scenic Ozark Mountains from our gardens and wrap-around veranda.

You deserve nothing but the best. Let us take care of you, and show why this charming Victorian Village has become one of the most popular getaway destinations in the country. Want to kick up the romance a bit? Choose from one of our romantic packages or add-ons, which can include an indulgent couples massage if you so choose–depending of course on availability.
