Eureka Springs Nightlife Hotspots

With over twenty bars, restaurants and clubs within walking distance, it’s easy to find Eureka Springs nightlife hotspots.  Whether you like to dance, listen to music, have a drink or play billiards, there is a little something for everyone.  There are also some great shows to be seen around town.  Once the sun starts to go down, the Eureka Springs nightlife begins to heat up.

For dinner with a view, check out the Balcony Bar at the Basin Park Hotel.  The restaurant overlooks the downtown area so it’s great for people watching.  They are also home of Eureka Springs Best Burger.  The Balcony Bar regularly offers music and has a variety of specialty drinks including The Downtown Daiquiri.  One of downtown’s 21 and over spots is also at The Basin Park on the 6th floor, Lucky 7 Billiards.  This late night area includes big screen televisions for watching sporting events and is a great spot to shoot pool.  Open on Friday and Saturday nights from 6:00pm to midnight.

The Cathouse Lounge, which is in the adjoining building to the Pied Piper Pub and Inn, has some great music scheduled for the month of December.  Open from 8:00pm to midnight, they offer live music every Friday and Saturday.  Their New Year’s Eve Celebration will have Matt Reeves and the Gypsy Pilots performing.

With the biggest dance floor in downtown, visit Eureka Live Underground for a night of drinks and dancing.  Eureka Live Underground has a DJ on the weekends starting at 9:00pm, free pool and the biggest Bloody Mary bar in the Ozarks.

Chelsea’s Corner Cafe & Bar on Mountain Street is a full bar and café that specializes in New York style pizza.  The bar is open until 2:00am on Fridays and Saturdays and until midnight on Sundays.  They offer live music five nights a week.  In the warmer seasons, check out their double deck patio and enjoy a drink with one of their plates of Big Nachos or Philly Cheesesteaks.  Click here for a list of Chelsea’s upcoming performances for December.

Voted “Best Fun” in 2009 by the Arkansas Times Readers Choice Restaurant Awards is hotspot The New Delhi Cafe Eureka Springs.  This three level restaurant and bar offers great views as it is situated right near Basin Spring.  There is always fun music to be heard at the café’s indoor music stage.  Order a shaved ice margarita and settle in for a great evening.

If an evening show is more your idea of a good time, check out the Intrigue Theater.  The Illusionist and the Medium Is a nightly show featuring magic and mystery.   This show is a definite must-see when visiting Eureka Springs.  The show is currently appearing on the NCL Getaway and will return in May of 2015.  Eureka Springs is also home to The Great Passion Play.  The Great Passion Play is America’s #1 attended outdoor drama.  A number of performers, live animals, and state of the art lighting and sound come together nightly to put on The Greatest Story Ever Told.

Just two short blocks from all the action of the Historic District of downtown Eureka Springs is Arsenic and Old Lace bed and breakfast.  We would love to have you stay with us when you’re in town.  Check availability and reserve your perfect guest suite today.  We’ll see you soon.
