Making the Trip from Branson to Eureka Springs

Though the distance from Branson to Eureka Springs is only a short 53 miles, there are two great routes to take that will get you here, and plenty to see along the way. The first of these routes, and likely the more popular drive, follows Highway 86 into Eureka Springs. Along the way, make sure you stop in Ridgedale, Missouri, where you'll find spectacular views from the Lost Canyon Cave and Nature Trail.

The cave itself is 4 stories tall, and the centerpiece of the cave is a stunning cascading waterfall. You get to the top via electric cart, and once there will enjoy views of stunning rock formations and views of Table Rock Lake.  There's also a cave bar that you access via a mining-style elevator. It's the perfect place for a glass of lemonade!

You can continue on Highway 86 the entire way from Branson to Eureka Springs, or you can branch-off at Blue Eye and continue on to Eureka Springs via AR-21. Along this route, you'll pass through Berryville, Arkansas.

Berryville is home to an abundance of outdoor recreation including hunting, fishing, canoeing, and so much more. Maybe you want to enjoy a round of golf on the way? Stop by the beautiful 9-hole course at the Carroll County Country Club.  The course is open to the public and features it's signature hole #8 with trees and water behind the green.

Another great attraction in Berryville is Cosmic Caverns.  This privately owned cave remains a cool 64 degrees year-round and features 2 bottomless cave lakes.  The walking tours at the caverns take around 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete.
