About the Eureka Springs Blues Weekend

Spend Father’s Day weekend at one of Eureka Springs most popular festivals, Eureka Springs Blues Weekend.  Featuring international, national, regional and local blues acts, this weekend is fun for the whole family.  Live music can be seen at venues all around town with headliners appearing at The Auditorium and The Basin Park Hotel’s Barefoot Ballroom.

 

This event comes to Eureka Springs this June 12th through the 15th. Tickets for the weekend are now on sale.  VIP weekend passes include preferred seating to all Auditorium shows and early seating at all ballroom shows.  A festival poster, t-shirt and other giveaways are available in the VIP Goodie Bag.  VIP passes are $150.00.  Weekend passes are on sale for $75.00.  This pass includes access to all ballroom and Auditorium shows.  Proceeds from the Eureka Springs Blues Weekend go to raise awareness and funds for the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge.  Turpentine Creek’s mission is to provide lifetime refuge for abandoned, abused and neglected big cats with emphasis on tigers, lions, leopards and cougars.

 

The lineup for Eureka Springs Blues Weekend has already been released.  Chubby Carrier, Carolyn Wonderland, Walter Wolfman Washington, The Ariels, Brick Fields and the Chosen One, Larry Garner and Fast Johnny Ricker are just a few of the acts performing this year.  The weekend will also feature Moreland and Arbuckle, Brandon Santini, Mr. Sipp and Lucious Spiller with more acts to be announced soon.  Club venues featuring blues acts this year are Chelsea’s Corner Café and Bar, Jack’s Place, New Delhi, The Pied Piper Pub, Rockin’ Pig Saloon, Rowdy Beaver, The Squid and Whale and the Voules-Vous Lounge.  Free music will be offered in the afternoons at Basin Spring Park. Eureka Springs Blues Weekend ends each year with a Father’s Day Picnic held Sunday at noon Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge.  Admission to the picnic is included in the weekend passes or $5.00 per person can be paid at the gate.  The picnic will include food and drinks and entertainment for the kids.  World renowned artists and local acts provide the music entertainment for the day.  Live music will begin at 2:00pm.
