The next time you visit Eureka Springs, be sure to bring your appetite.  From breakfast to dinner and even snacks and drinks in between, there are plenty of restaurants in Eureka Springs AR.  There are so many great restaurants to choose from but here are 7 excellent choices to get you started.

With awards ranging from Best Overall Restaurant in Eureka Springs, Best Steak Around Arkansas and Best Wine List Around Arkansas, definitely make plans to eat at Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse.  House specialty Prime Rib, hand cut filets and made from scratch desserts are just a few things on their amazing menu.  Gaskins is open Wednesday through Saturday at 5:00pm and takes call ahead seating to minimize wait times.

The Grande Tavern at the Grand Central Hotel is open nightly from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.  All menu items are made from scratch and the menu includes items like pan seared Crab Cakes, Grilled Maine Lobster Tail, Roasted Rack of Lamb and The Truly Grand Steak.  Be sure to enjoy after dinner drinks in the Tavern’s lounge offering a full bar and extensive wine list.

In the upper Historic Loop of Eureka Springs, you will find Italian home cooking at Ermilio’s.  The environment is casual and homey.  Their menu allows you to make your own Italian dish by choosing your sauce and then the pasta.  Check out Mom’s Homemade Meatballs in Red Sauce, an Ermilio family tradition.  Other menu items include Filet, Chicken Marsala and Shrimp Scampi.  Ermilio’s is open 7 days a week from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

For the freshest food in town, walk on over to Mud Street Café on South Main Street.  Besides their breakfast and lunch menus, the restaurant is known for their award winning coffee drinks, full bar and desserts.  The location is also unique as it is located in a building from 1888 and features limestone walls and stained glass windows.  Breakfast is served from 8:00am to 11:00am and then lunch from 11:00am to 3:00pm. They are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Autumn Breeze Restaurant is known around the region for having great tasting steaks, seafood, lamb, chicken and vegetarian dishes.  This fine dining steakhouse is home to Chef and owner Richard Bloch.  His specialty menu items include Thai Chicken, a Coconut Beer Battered Shrimp and Seared Tuna.  Autumn Breeze is now open with their winter hours.  Sunday through Thursday the restaurant will be open from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday’s and Saturday’s.  Autumn Breeze can be found at 190 Huntsville Road in Eureka Springs.

Known for their unique Italian menu and farm raised trout, check out DeVito’s of Eureka Springs.  This Italian favorite has been featured in The New York Times, Bon Appetit! and Southern Living.  They were voted Best Italian in 2012 by the Reader’s Choice Awards in the Arkansas Times.  The restaurant prides themselves on their homemade sauces and breads made fresh daily using family recipes and the finest ingredients.  Take in the views while you dine from their glassed in porch or from the Sky Dining deck four stories high overlooking the mountains.  The dinner menu features a variety of entrees including their award winning Trout Italiano.  Dinner begins nightly at 5:00pm with reservations being accepted for parties of 5 or more.

If you’re looking to dine out for Sunday Brunch, be sure to visit Local Flavor Cafe.  Located in downtown Eureka Springs on Main Street, Local Flavor Café is chef owned and operated by sixth generation native Britt Evans.  Locals have been enjoying the menu offerings since 1991.  Their brunch menu features classics like Eggs Benedict and French Toast to specialties like Quiche of the day and Gingerbread Waffles.  They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily opening at 11:00am and then at 9:00am on Sunday’s.  Local Flavor has an extensive wine list and full bar for enjoying during happy hour or with your meal.  Make a reservation for a seat on their outdoor patio and enjoy the Historic District of downtown while you dine.
