Spring Break Special for Teachers

Spring break special Eureka Springs B&B

Teachers, spend Spring Break at our Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast.

Spring is in the air, which means it’s almost time for that wonderful annual tradition, Spring Break. The Eureka Springs School District celebrates Spring Break the week of March 19. Several school districts across the border in Missouri celebrate it the week of March 26, and still others take off the first week of April.

No matter when it falls in the calendar, one thing is certain: Spring Break is a well-deserved holiday for teachers, staff, and students alike.

To show faculty and staff how much we appreciate them, we offer a “School’s out! School’s out!” special at our Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast. It is the best way we know to thank you for the hard work you do in preparing tomorrow’s leaders.

The special includes three nights lodging, a gourmet breakfast each morning, and plenty of homemade snacks and beverages throughout the day. In addition, we provide a $25 voucher good towards lunch or dinner at one of Eureka Springs’ six finest eateries, and a 40% discount on a 1 hour couples’ massage.

What you need during Spring Break is rest, relaxation, and a little pampering. Sleep in, and when you wake up, sit down to a delicious breakfast that you didn’t have to prepare. Explore the historic district of Eureka Springs at your leisure. Spend a day at the new Crystal Bridges Museum. Go for a paddle on Beaver Lake. Get a massage. Go horseback riding through the Ozark Mountains. Take a hike through Lake Leatherwood Park. Or bring a couple of really good books and lose yourself in them, emerging only to nibble a cookie and sip tea or wine.

The price of our “School’s out! School’s out!” special varies according to room. Please see Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast Specials for more details.

Spring Break? Visit Eureka Springs

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011

All around the country, folks are gearing up for spring break. Teachers, students, and parents are spending every spare moment deciding where to go. Even people without children find spring an irresistible time to travel – perhaps thanks to years of spring break conditioning.

Our Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast is a fantastic destination for spring break. We’re located a couple of blocks from the heart of the historic district, a short walk to all sorts of shops and eateries. On top of that, there are many fun events lined up for March and April in Eureka Springs.

The Ozark Mountain Hoe-down opens for the season on Friday, March 11. This is entertainment at its finest – good music and lots of laughs – every night of the week except Tuesdays. More great music is to be found during Eureka Music Festivals at THE Auditorium, March 26 and April 2 and 30. In addition, the Pine Mountain Jamboree opens this weekend, March 4; the Jamboree features music from gospel to rock n’ roll, along with comedy to keep everyone in good spirits. It’s a Eureka Springs favorite.

The 29th Annual Victorian Classic takes place on Saturday, March 12, 2011. This 10k run and 2 mile run/walk benefit local charities. If you would never dream of leaving for vacation without your running shoes, this event may be for you.

The weekend of March 19 and 20th is the 15th Annual Spring Antique Show and Sale at the Convention Center. We know antiques here in Eureka Springs – after all, our whole downtown is on the National Record of Historic Places. Antique aficionados travel from all over the country to rummage through the Eureka Springs Antique Show.

April is filled with a UFO Conference (April 8 – 10), and a chainsaw carving festival (April 15 – 16). Really.

There is another good reason to stay at our Bed and Breakfast Eureka Springs, AR. Relaxation. We know of no better place to sit with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine than our wrap-around deck. We spend hours there, counting the birds as they come to feed; hundreds of different bird species pass through Eureka Springs in the spring and fall, and a surprising number of them end up in our backyard. Read, chat, or simply sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings during your spring break vacation in Eureka Springs.
