Celebrate Mothers and Fathers in Eureka Springs

Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011

Eureka Springs is hopping these days. The May Festival of the Arts is in full swing. As darkness falls each evening, hundreds of colorful lanterns are illuminated throughout the city; merely walking from our Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast to a nearby restaurant is an artistic experience. This is one of the most exciting times to visit Eureka Springs, and a great time to travel here with your mom and dad.

Visit with your parents on the porch of our Eureka Springs B&B

Mother’s Day is this weekend, May 8, 2011. Father’s Day is Sunday, June 19th. Treat your parents to a night or two at our luxurious Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast during May or June; better yet, join them there.  Your parents will be thrilled when you put everything else in your life on hold so you can spend some time with them.

Daily concerts (for free!) take place at Basin Spring Park now through the fall (weather permitting). A great variety of indoor performances take place almost nightly at The Auditorium; John Two Hawks will captivate audiences with his lovely Native American Flute Music on Mother’s Day; June 2-4 is Blues Weekend.

Think of all the times your mother and father put everything else on hold for you. They cheered at your games, they applauded at your concerts, and they schlepped you from one activity to the next. They were there for you when you needed them and did their best to let you go when you needed them to do that. They did it all out of love. Do something out of love for them now – spend some time with them in Eureka Springs.
