Celebrate the Season in Eureka Springs

Friday, November 25th, 2011

“A Season of Celebration” is underway at the Pine Mountain Theater in Eureka Springs. The show runs Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through December 10, 2011. Expect great singing, hilarious comedy, and a bloodhound. We’ll say no more.

It's worth the trip to Eureka Springs.

Come into show for the town and enjoy a fun-filled weekend at our Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast. Sleep late, eat well, shop in the historic downtown, and find out just what “A Season of Celebration” is all about.

Two other fun holiday events will take place in Eureka Springs between now and December 10, 2011. The Tour of Homes on December 3 leads participants to festively decorated, historic homes, where docents in period garb will tell interesting tales. The Annual Sweet Treats Tour on December 10 invites participants into nine Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfasts, where they’ll find tasty sweet treats, holiday recipes, and fresh decorating ideas.

We hope to see you soon. Please visit our Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast reservations page to book your room.

If you don’t yet have set plans for Thanksgiving, and if you’re ready for a change this year, consider spending Thanksgiving here, in beautiful Eureka Springs. Take a break from hosting or being hosted, and enjoy the long weekend at your leisure. Several Eureka Springs restaurants will serve Thanksgiving meals, some family style, some buffet style.

It’s a fantastic weekend to start your holiday shopping. The unique shops and art galleries in historic downtown Eureka Springs will be open all weekend. In addition, the Eureka Springs School of the Arts hosts their Winterfest Fine Art and Craft Show on November 25 and 26, from noon to 6 p.m., at the Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center. It should be easy to find unique gifts for your friends and loved ones.

Well, Arsenic and Old Lace is “beginning to look a lot like Christmas”  The outside lights are up and tree is up, Beverly is working on the cookies for the up coming Sweet Treats Tour (December 11).  For those of you who we’ve enjoyed seeing over the last few years we look forward to seeing you again and if we haven’t seen you yet we look forward to meeting you.

Eureka Springs has a pretty full schedule for the Christmas season.  The historic tour of Homes is set for December 4; the folks at the Passion Play are producing the Reason for the Season; both the Pine Mountain Jamboree and the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down are having their Christmas Shows; the Downtown Network has many events scheduled for the Downtown Merchants!  Of course if you can’t get here to enjoy Arsenic and Old Lace and celebrations in Eureka Springs; you can prepare your favorite Arsenic and Old Lace dish from our cookbook; our great sheets and robes are available.  If you have those folks that are impossible to find the right gift for then consider a Gift Certificate.  Just give us a call we’d be happy to give you more information and will enjoy speaking with guests both past and future.  Remember Arsenic and Old Lace will help you excite all your senses!
