Eagles Nest Bike Ralley Eureka Springs April 23rd-26th

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

Come join us for a “real mountain rally”!    Guests can stay with us and then take a shuttle bus to the ranch.  What is involved, well let’s just say a little bit of everything including bike games and contests, horseback riding, hiking, concerts, vendors, and a weekend of great fun.  Due to the popularity of this event, this will be the first year at its new location in Eureka Springs.

Eagles Nest Bike Rally started as a vision of how to help Veterans.  The result has been nothing short of phenomenal and has raised thousands of dollars for Veterans.  It has grown every year and hope that you will join us for this special event.  If you own a bike, maybe you will consider joining them for their Hero Ride which takes place every Memorial Day weekend.  The ride has over 100 riders and covers more than 400 miles of scenic rides.

Eureka Springs Mustang Show…April 17th-18th

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Dust off the Mustang and start your engines!  It is time for the 14th Annual Mustang Show.  If you own a Mustang or thinking about owning one, this is a fun event for all.  The show began in 1994 and has grown even since.  This year also happens to be the 45th anniversary of the Mustang, so this year is sure to be special.

Everyone is invited to come as spectators and enjoy the weekend.  The show features trophies, cash prizes, dash plaques and a DJ with games and door prizes. The highlight of the show is an hour long parade through tree lined streets past beautiful, meticulously restored Victorian homes, the “Painted Ladies of Eureka Springs” and through the historic business district. The parade route is always lined with spectators cheering on their favorite Mustangs.

Better yet, if you own a Mustang register your car and qualify to win in many exciting categories such as Best of Show, Best Interior, Best Exterior, Best Engine, and if you are part of a club, Best Club Participation.   So…start your engines!

Eureka Springs Romantic Garden Getaway April & May

Saturday, March 7th, 2009

Mother nature helped to prune some of our trees this Winter with a lovely ice storm. As a result, we have much more sunlight to share with our perennial garden. If you enjoy gardening this special is just for you (and your loved one)! During April and May bring some plants that you would like to share with Arsenic and Old Lace and you will get three nights for the price of two when traveling Monday through Thursday. Or, if you decide to visit Friday thru Sunday and stay two evenings, you will receive a 15% discount. And oh yes, you will be able to plant the perennials also!
So you ask, which plants will work best? Plants that can thrive in shade/partial shade, drought tolerant, and most important deer resistant! Examples of plants that would work well include Globe Thistle, Coneflower, Columbine, Red Hot Poker, Lilly-of-the-Valley, and many others! Additionally, we will add your name to our “Donors Corner” and provide loving care for your donated perennial for its lifespan.
Break out your gardening gloves and visit us in March and April!
